Hai guys! Yes I am back :giggle:
I got around to renewing my subscription today & exploring dA for a CSS template I thought would be worthy for my new journal :D Hope you all like it as much as me!

Experimentation

I've been experimenting with the program GIMP. I've always used photoshop for all my work up to now, but seen as GIMP was a free download & I've heard nothing but excellent reviews I thought I'd give it a try.
I've taken some quick shots of my new kitten Tiddles to show you guys & decided to try enhance 'em in GIMP. I figured out all the basic stuff like contrast, saturation, hue, cropping etc but I'm stuck at adding a border to my image :(
Also for people who are familiar with photoshop, the "Shadows & highlights" tool is one of my most used features - but can I find it on GIMP? No I can't :giggle: & so my experimentaion with a new photo editing application may be short lived & I may end up resorting back to photoshop :rofl: Still who knows =P
